This website is built around a gallery of original artwork rendered using computer software and a digital graphics tablet. Creating digital art is much the same as making conventional artwork. There are still compositional, color, texture, value and rendering considerations/decisions that the artist makes, even though the medium is unconventional.

All the artwork on this site was created by students of digital art classes in the Senior Computer Lab, Salinas Valley Digital Art Guild Program at the Salinas Adult School in Salinas, California. Creativity is the spice of life. This website contains some basic information on using a computer to create original artwork. To find out what digital art is, how we do it and to visit our gallery, click on the links menu above and below.

If you have access to a computer, we invite you to try your hand at an exciting pasttime---making digital art! Suspend your doubts, relax and launch into it. Except for the printout size and your imagination, there are no limits!
