PLATES: Abstract Mandelas
Our "take-off" on plates are not on dinner plates. We ended up with
circle abstracts reminescent of mandelas, circles of life, well, art---but not for dinner.
First, we painted several little circular artworks in Painter Classic, using a variety of textures and colors, ranging from dark studies to lights in value.
Then we pasted each into a layer in a Photoshop file, reduced the opacity on some layers, switched the layers up or down until arriving at a final image.
