The group went out and gathered bits of florals, leaves and bark and laid them on the scanner and scanned at 300dpi. Then the scans were collaged with backgrounds images created in Painter. Photoshop Elements' layering was used to do the collages and the Magic Wand tool was used to delete the background around each floral—which takes some work.
